Statement
Community Health Center of Richmond is a primary health care and dental services provider, located in Staten Island, NY, that serves the population of Staten Island as well as other parts of New York and New Jersey.
Like a fair amount of our projects, this was another NYS contract project where we partnered with a furniture manufacturer to produce a quality, affordable office furniture solution while ensuring that the taxpayer money was managed responsibly and spent efficiently.
The client wanted sharp looking office suites and a small workstations for shared small offices on 2 floors of their headquarters. We worked with highly cost effective casegood furniture by Global Total Office for a sophisticated look on a budget.
For the CEO we specified an ultra-stylish U-shaped executive office desk with modesty panel and a wood storage cabinet consisting of a 2 drawer lateral file, a mixed drawer cabinet and overhead wall mounted office cabinets. A small meeting table with visitors’ chairs facilitates private but informal discussion sessions.
We established continuity in the overall office design by using the same office furniture brand with the same espresso desk finish, just with different desk configurations. The managers’ offices have an L shaped office desk with drawers on both sides. Smaller, shared admin offices get a 2 x 4 desk with pedestal, a tack board and overhead storage cabinets mounted to the walls.
Stylish beige office chairs fill the space all the way from the operator chairs to the high back executive office chairs, to keep with a neutral color scheme.
The final product has the look of a luxury office for a fraction of the cost. Who said budget has to be basic?
