Statement
Avi Kahn Designs is different from many other NYC interior design firms in that they have cross-functional specialties in commercial, residential, and healthcare design. The firm intently listens to a client’s project aspirations to inform their creative process.
Avi’s team brought us into an office renovation project because they knew we could provide nice office furniture in Brooklyn for a pediatrician’s suite. The medical office design required custom built in office furniture to create a wall-to-wall desk unit with wall mounted office cabinets.
The wraparound desk design takes up all 4 office walls and accommodates 5 administrative workers, so this was certainly a case of measuring twice… maybe even three or four times… before cutting the custom desk tops once! We also provided matching L office desks for four private small offices.
The crisp white laminate desk finish is offset by bright, bold, beautiful office accent walls, dark charcoal wall mounted bulletin boards, and black office chairs. Ergonomically designed Apollo Office Task Chairs are a customer favorite and were an easy choice here.
Additional affordable office chairs specified for this project: 24 stackable chairs for patients and visitors, and doctor stools for the exam rooms.
The uncomplicated furniture, fixtures, and finishes for this project perfectly illustrate the interior design concept of “less is more” without compromising aesthetics or functionality.
