Statement
Lorain County Community Action Agency (LCCAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of low-to-moderate income individuals and families in local Ohio communities.
As one of our many repeat customers, the team at LCCAA returned with a need for office design and furniture for a small portion of their office space in Ohio.
The Covid-19 global pandemic brought about a whole new world of office design ideas related to social distancing at workplaces. The size and shape of cubicle designs, the height of cubicle walls, the addition of plexiglass shields everywhere, the width of aisles and the flow of foot traffic… even the giant change in ideas for home office furniture. Covid made an indelible mark in office design trends.
Case in point, by mid-2020 LCCAA had embraced the concept of enclosed workstations as their standard for all locations. All office space planning had social distancing guidelines in mind, and their go-to cubicle configurations were “six feet apart” sized 6’x5’ and 7’x5’ private office cubicles with doors.
67”H cubicle dividers fully surround each work area, some with cubicle windows to facilitate visual contact between co-workers. A sliding cubicle door adds an extra safety layer of socially distanced protection.
Each cubicle office desk has two desk pedestal, locking office cabinet, tackboard panels and office task lighting.
Because we’ve designed numerous projects for LCCAA it was very easy to specify the standard office color palette used for all O2™ corporate office furniture for a consistent office interiors design at all locations.
