Established in 1990, Metron Farnier is a smart water meter company operating out of Boulder, Colorado. Metron has been providing advanced metering solutions to utilities for 40 years. Their metering and sub metering solutions now provide superior measurement accuracy and range with smart meter technologies providing the industry’s highest data resolution.

Requiring some assistance with an envisioned transformation for their office space in Boulder, the Metron team identified cubicles.com as an experienced and competent Colorado office furniture supplier that would provide the best office interior design solution for this project – and we were eager to prove them right.

The objective of this project was to optimize a central open office space in an area populated by existing private offices on the perimeter of the office floor plan. Our team utilized expert corporate office interior design strategies to create a balanced and modern workspace that meets the client’s needs.

We achieved this dynamic office transformation by installing high-quality modular office walls to create four private office spaces. The facades were constructed using black framed glass office panels, allowing for an elegant and modern aesthetic while maximizing natural light. Each office was equipped with a solid office door to ensure privacy and maintain a cohesive design.

The dividing office walls were built using 85” high powder blue cubicle walls creating a sound-dampening environment. To enhance workplace functionality, each office was furnished with an L shaped office desk with mesh task chairs for ergonomic support, and smart white guest chairs for visitors. Additionally, we incorporated office storage solutions such as two types of file pedestals to keep the workspace organized and efficient.

To provide employees with greater privacy while maintaining an open feel, we applied a 4’ high strip of office window privacy film to both new and existing glass office panels, giving the effect of sandblasted glass. This thoughtful addition enhances discretion without compromising natural light flow, aligning with modern office design trends. Each new 10 by 10 office layout ensures an optimized, structured use of space.
